Will a blanket ruin my subwoofer sound?

So I have 2 subwoofers pointed at my back wall. There might be a problem though... My wall has a giant super thick blanket hanging on it and the subs are pointed directly at the blanket. Will this soak up my bass and make it less powerful? The blanket is right next to the wall where its hanging. Thanks guys for your help!

Subwoofer frequencies will not be substantially impacted by a blanket.
