Why I am not getting the full UtraHD audio from AmazonMusic

I'm completely unfamiliar with Heos. Is it the receiver itself streaming Amazon HD then or is it accessing a device on the network that streams it?

That would solve the problem. Both my laptop and pc support 24/192, but I did have to go to the sound settings like I outlined in my 2nd post. When I had the free trial it bugged me too that it was only showing 16/48 so I rolled my sleeves up and figured it out for Windows 10.

Yeah just the HD hi Rez part is free. Of course you still have to pay for the service overall.

My setup as follows Sony A90J 65 inch receiver is Marantz SR6015 using eArc [HDMI] I am streaming from Google App/Sony the Amazon Music App & I am getting this
The track quality : 24-bit/192KHZ
Device Capability : 16-bit/48KHZ
Currently Playing at : 16-bit/48 KHZ
Codec: FLAC
Why I am not getting the full 24-bit/192 KHZ . Is there a setting on the Marantz that needs to change or I am at my limit in my devices ?..

Don't worry about it. You won't hear the difference. 16-bit/48 KHZ has enough frequency response to cover the whole human hearing band, and the dynamic range all ALL music sources. Going higher is a total waste of bandwidth, a waste of resources and should stop. These high rates are just promoted by ignorant audiophools.

Seems to be a popular opinion 'round here but one cannot agree or disagree with it unless they are able to make the comparison for themselves. If one is not able to access the various bits and frequencies and play them back without alteration, they very well cannot form an opinion about it either way. Nobody likes not being able to make full use of their gear because some silly device and/or service is the limiting factor.

I understand wanting to see those 24/192 numbers when you know it's available, but I agree with @TLS Guy. It's just not possible for a human to hear at the maximum resolution cds are capable of let alone even higher. It's not really even an opinion. It's a measurable, testable fact.

Hey, you don't have to convince me. But, I don't think streaming services are playing a fair game, either. "Hey, our lossless 16/44.1 service is awesome! We use the original masters. Of course, if you want the cleaned up remaster, well, that is only available in the 24/192 section."

Plain old "HD" on Amazon is cd quality, the Ultra HD is how they describe higher resolution. Silly terms in any case.

Ok, I have Ultra HD and it's free, at least to me. I have Prime and I sub to Amazon music unlimited. The Ultra sound definitely sounds great, if you find one that is 192 hz it's pretty awesome. Now when I say free I mean I used to pay above Amazon music unlimited for the Ultra and now I don't and just have it. I got an email some time back that I will no longer be charged for Ultra.

Yeah I guess it's confusing. I didn't even know there was just an HD tier to be honest till you said that.
I use the Amazon music app. on my Fire Cube. Goes right to my X3400H and sound very, very good. I don't do 2 channel either, I know, shoot me, blasphemy [emoji1787] but I let Dolby surround do it's thing. I freaking miss, miss big time DPLII. I could cry that is not offered any more. I thought it sounded amazing.

I tried the HEOS you have to download the App on your phone & stream via your phone to the Marantz but I thought streaming from iPhone is limited to 44 Hz. Now I am as confused as the big guy.

It's not likely actually streaming from the phone, you're just using the phone to direct a stream towards the rendering app/device.
