I disagree.

Actually, that's a common myth about Dr. Pepper. There is no prune juice in it.

Anyone ever had prune Cobbler? You would probably have to just eat it sitting on the can. :D

Sitting down to a nice greek dinner with a Dr. pepper and some pie in Singapore.
In Singapore they know the score,
they have some Asian class,
they know that DP cobbler causes
lots of Texas gas.

I agree.

Shinerman- You can have it shipped to you. Someone told me Central Markup carries it but I haven't verified that.

Yeh, a buddy of mine has it shipped to him now and then. He is a DP freak. I have run across it before at Central Markup ( I like that :p ) but it's not always there. They also carry large 20oz. Cokes in the glass bottles from Mexico. Very nice. Put them in the freezer for about 20 minutes and enjoy. Nothing better!

Ahhhh...... Now I'm thirsty! Off to the Coke machine. (That's what we southerners call a Soda Machine/Pop machine. :D )

This post is directed towards all of the idiots on these pages who in their responses to threads quote the whole damn article and then type 2 freaking words "I agree". I suppose that what I am really getting at is that if you are going to take the time to post a response to a thread that if you have any intelligence at all that you would have read all the previous comments to make shure that you aren't just posting a previously made comment. Thus negating the excessive use of the quotation feature. Furthermore if some of these idiots would quit quoting so freaking much then maybe you could fit more than two or three responses per page saving us all time when looking through posts and less repetitive remarks. Maybe I'm just crazy, or maybe I am just the only one who has thought this far into this. Happy Listening. :)

Are there any Daylight Savings Time fans out there? :) or

While we are wasting space, I am not sure if the wife and I should eat Italian and Mexican tonight. I love Italian but here in South Texas, we have some really really good Mexican food. Shiner does go good with Burritos? But, some nice wine with some Veal would be nice as well? Hmmmm? Looks like it might be a last minute decision. I get back tomorrow and start a thread on which one we choose. Any recommendations are welcomed.
Its Friday afternoon and I gotta believe the majority of us are wondering about Shinerman's cuisine options :p

Not too mention drink of choice  DP or something stronger. :D

Was thinking about grilling NY strips tonight with a nice cabernet. Whats the preference out there - NY Strip? Ribeye? Filet? T-bone? Rare, Medium Rare, surely not well done

Pretzel Logic just came on, which of course reminds me of my college days which of course reminds me of only one thing...gotta go get a beer :)

Well, it's definitely mexican tonight. It's a friend's birthday and nothing says Happy Birthday like standing on a chair with a Sumbrero on singing Habby B-Day to yourself as we druken friends sing along. :D

As far as Steaks are concerned, I would have to say my favorite is the Ribeye, medium rare. Just a very flavorful steak. Second, would be the Porter House T-Bone. Very good but you kindof get screwed in the price per pound due to the huge Bone. I'm all about value and the best value to me is the Ribeye and like I said above, it's the most flavorful.

Red, getting a beer is the best idea I have heard today. Wonder what kind I will partake in? Hmmmmmm? ;) One bad thing about tonight's dinner is that my best friend will be there and he is a Guiness freak. This might be a very rough night. :(

Shiner.......uha, uha Guinessman, Oy!

Porterhouse or NY cut medium rare if it's good beef----medium if it's just OK cow.

Glad to see this moving in the right beverage direction, but Mexican food with Guiness Stout  Hope it's with a Cabowabo depth charge at least....just to keep with the spirit.

Mort (who wouldn't do that to Cabowabo though)

I'm glad to see this heading in the right direction. With all the Dr. Pepper talk going on I thought for sure that once it turned to beer it would go straight to Lone Star. Good choice with the Guinness but you have to learn how to spell it. Otherwise it will upset your stomach.

For some evening attire tonight try this website:

Sorry to leave you hanging like that but I have been working 12 hour shifts 6 days a week recently and by the time I get home I grab a beer I could care less
about anything in the world. Although a nice 20oz. Porter House and a cold beer
are sounding like a great idea, I like my steaks like I like my women, thick tasty and pink on the inside. Dr. pepper sucks. Mexican food + beer= explosions in the rear. As for the quote thing I loved the qoute inside of a quote inside of a quote, that's great. I wonder how many times you can quote a qoute? That would be an interesting use of the quoting option. Well off to grab a beer and a slab of meat. Happy listening.

Mmm, Ribeye, garlic mashed potatoes with chives and bacon, and a good bourbon.

Forget the Ribeye, to much fat, I like a good NY Strip. Season it with some salt, pepper, paprika, & garlic salt. Sear one side for 3 minutes, flip and same to other side. Cut a pat of butter and let it melt on the top of the steak, and serve with a cold Miller High Life.

Damn, I'm off to go eat somthing now.

And I agree with Mort, no Guinness, but Tequila is always good.
