Dude, you think way toooooo much. You complain about the above and then go on to "create" an entire new worthless thread? Sweet!

While we are wasting space, I am not sure if the wife and I should eat Italian and Mexican tonight. I love Italian but here in South Texas, we have some really really good Mexican food. Shiner does go good with Burritos? But, some nice wine with some Veal would be nice as well? Hmmmm? Looks like it might be a last minute decision. I get back tomorrow and start a thread on which one we choose. Any recommendations are welcomed.

 :D :p

P.S. I don't really like when people overuse the Smile icons. It's just, well, Tacky.
Shinerman,
I gotta know. Was it Mexican or Italian?

Oh and the rest of the stuff:
I agree too.

Actually, the wife threw me a curve ball. She suggested Greek! As soon as I heard that, I was in. We went to a Houston landmark called Niko Niko's. Best greek I have ever had. Cheap and good. I had a very nice roasted 1/2 chicken. The meat just falls off the bone it's so juicy and tender. It's accompanied by some butter and paprika soaked potatos (healthy huh?) and a huge Greek side salad with a huge slab of Feta cheese on top. Oh, we had some Hummus to start with with Pita. And, a Dr. Pepper to wash it all down with.

OK!.................. I am off to get something to eat. I am now starving after writing this. :p

This is the kind of thread that could end up talking about vacations in Singapore and it would stay open - just too darn funny... Could be a legacy thread in the making.

Hey, don't knock it until you try it. The smooth taste of the Dr. Pepper and the "bite" of the Feta and greek salad dressing play very well together. :D Plus, I am not a big fan of greek wines.

For what it's worth, I disagree. But I will say Diet Dr. Pepper tastes as good as Dr. Pepper.

I'll agree with ya there. Diet Dr. Pepper is, in my opinion, much better than standard Dr. Pepper. However, the biggest problem with Diet DP is that it is not widely found outside the grocery store and convenient stores (That's a Party Store - AM/PM for those non-southerm folk). Not to many eating establishments have it on tap. Some, but not many. I heard it's very easy to get in Singapore?

I got to tell ya though, Diet DP and cobbler and/or pie is "THE BOMB".

This post is directed towards all of the idiots on these pages who in their responses to threads quote the whole damn article and then type 2 freaking words "I agree". I suppose that what I am really getting at is that if you are going to take the time to post a response to a thread that if you have any intelligence at all that you would have read all the previous comments to make shure that you aren't just posting a previously made comment. Thus negating the excessive use of the quotation feature. Furthermore if some of these idiots would quit quoting so freaking much then maybe you could fit more than two or three responses per page saving us all time when looking through posts and less repetitive remarks. Maybe I'm just crazy, or maybe I am just the only one who has thought this far into this. Happy Listening. :)

By the way, has anyone seen soniceuphoria?

Shinerman- Was that a Dublin DP? I worked in a Greek restaurant 20 years ago and must agree Nikos Nikos is very good. It really helps that they finally expanded.

Man, I wish that was a Dublin DP. The original formula is awesome. Not many people know about Dublin DP. Never been there but enjoy the "real" DP from time to time. Never thought I would see Dublin, Tx DP mentioned here. ;)

Yeh, my wife and I used to do drive-bys (sp?) with Niko's to see how long the line was. If it was more than a few people deep and the booths were full, we kept going. Now with the remodel/expansion, it's great. Still hard to get a seat sometimes even with the extra space.

Crap, now I am hungry again. Off to the fridge!

BTW, I think soniceuphoria is in Singapore.
