Ordered WIIM Ultra. The system won't come over to the house for a bit still and I have no music streaming capability to the mini system that I set up.

Currently GR A/V-1s are doing the job, but I will be bringing over the CA0W1s to put in their spot. GR A/V-1s will maybe go in bedroom. A/V-2s will most likely be going up for sale soon.

Last week, I had to purchase a 30 foot section, but have a couple 6 footers for Modem to TV and AVR. The 30 footer was for the Outside Camera receiver, connected to the basement modem unit. I strung the CAT 8 to the basement rafters to the middle of the basement, for the 4 Wi-Fi cameras. Central reception area.

I ordered a new Ortofon Blue stylus today. I figured I have 600 to 750 hours on this one. Still sounds good, but why wait? Do some folks change it out when it starts to sound bad? Seems like a terrible idea since it's probably rough on the grooves.

Added a Sony UBP-x800m2 my first use of a 4 -K player mainly for multi channel audio formats . Man there sure is a difference in picture quality and sound very quite machine and smooth operation. My first foray into the 4-K world but it does an incredible job of upscaling regular Blu-rays too . Now to experiment with features setup was pretty easy but there’s video things iam not sure of what they do as they pertain to 4-K things and play back will have several questions from the experts hear . Also changed out some old spec HDMI cables from mono price . Really an incredible picture on my Samsung Qled now to explore the 4-K selections .

Finally got the Kali LP6 and Motu M4 hooked up to the Mac Mini. Can't leave it connected for now due space constraints, but at least I know everything works.

Oh.

And d@mn, the LP6 sound good. Real good. I was torn and wanting to save some money... leaned hard toward the JBL LSR306 mk2 for a moment. So glad I changed my direction. These have no hiss audible at 3' and the sound is clean and smooth.

Fairly recent addition, started when they hired the speaker designer Andrew Jones (previously with Infinity, KEF, Elac, Pioneer). I see they now have a suite of other hardware than speakers now, too (which I hadn't noticed before I went to look at how many speakers they had now) https://www.mofielectronics.com/

They have co-ax drivers like Kef. I bet those sound great with the 10" woofers. I wonder how they compare with my Q11 Metas.

Only one article I see on AH on the speakers https://www.audioholics.com/tower-speaker-reviews/mofi-sourcepoint-888 but they generally seem to be liked, Stereophile and Erin's Audio Corner have some reviews I think. I've not heard either myself nor am I too likely to without buying them but I'm fine with my speakers....

Such a hard itch to scratch....but I doubt it would be life changing
