I CAN still skate lol, but I don't do much these days. I have one full setup that was what I skated ~20 years ago, that I just keep around (a Tommy Guerrero blank, he still lives in SF); and a new setup that is more for cruising around but is a decent setup. The Deftones one will for sure be a collectible, so that will go on the garage wall, not setup for skating.

Took the bikes over to the local shop in Niles for tune ups. Hers needed both tubes replaced. I picked up a new helmet. We have a ton of trails in our area now, along the nearby lakes about 1 mi away.

Yesterday, my son-inlaw helped me pick up my latest edition to my navy. I bought it used during the past winter months

Got this portable tape player today. I had bought another tape player, but the sound was bad and got returned. Took another chance with another one. When I got the player today the speed was a bit fast and the head didn't sound clear enough for me, so I adjusted both and to my amazement sound as good as my cassette deck from Pioneer, Yamaha and JVC! I also shook the player and never made the sound quiver!Not bad at all for under 30$. Maybe order a backup one later on. Happy camper.

They didn't give us floor mats for the Lexus for whatever reason, but I wanted WeatherTech digital fits anyway lol. Ordered them yesterday and a sun shade today. I got the salesguy to throw in a free tonneau cover for the back and picked up a nifty cargo net that folds up into itself at the dealership today.

Congrats on the new ride 'j' ! Question, is your Lexus model based off the Toyota Highlander ? If so I understand the need for a cargo net, for the Highlanders rear cargo area slops towards the rear. An absolutely stupid design. My DD, a BMW X5 has what amounts to a split hatch, the bottom portion, about 6-8 inches acts as a tailgate

No, the UX is based on the Prius. Trunk is small, but she still wants things to stay in place. You can remove the cover to have a compartmentalized area too.

After five BMWs, I was fully prepared to make it six. Then I made the mistake of driving past my local Land Rover dealer. One test drive of the 2026 Defender P400 X-Dynamic SE later and two weeks of serious research and price shopping couldn't talk me out of it. Pulled the trigger, and I have zero regrets. Felt like I was betraying an old friend, but some temptations are just too hard to resist.

Yes it's a lease, I do not buy luxury cars
- Side note, got it pretty optioned out, but love the little refrigerator/center storage area lol

In a Ford that would be for beer but Land Rover speaks to the champagne crowd. Not that drinking and driving is cool but champagne does seem to make the offense somewhat more elegant. Enjoy ... after you park!

Water is about the only thing that will go in there, but tested and it chills quite nicely and fast.

The Wireless Charging is worthless I put my iphone directly to the unit and nothing.
