I have one of those too. Been a really good player. I’ve seen reports of random freezing. I have to admit that while had done it, it was only three times. In the roughly five years I’ve had it.

Ya, mines been pretty solid since I bought it end of 2018. My biggest complaint is lack of polish in the UI. You’d think a company like Sony could up the ante just a fraction and make it a little nicer, perhaps make it as smooth as a PS1… or PS2, even.

I got myself a denon x3800h to replace a yamaha v685 as it has audio dropouts.

Sony Bravia 7 65" Insane deal. Moving my Xbox / PS5 Setup into its own gaming area.

- Lowest I have seen this TV is 1399 pre superbowl.
- Ended up getting from ABT as they price matched and I trust their customer service and are local.
- The rep didn't seem extremely pleased as he said they called their Sony Rep and they claimed it was a pricing error and were going to make Amazon take it down (if true).
- Ether way $1199 for a Mini LED TV is not bad. Did not go OLED because it would be in a brighter room and afraid of screen burn-in

I ordered more vinyl cause I am an addicted idiot. Why does it really sound better. I hate it when $hit like this happens. Screw level match blah blah and maybe it is the loudness BS but some are really that much better.

I've got quite a few records that sound better than the CD's of the same music that I also own.

I like this guy much more than the other person who wears the white gloves with his reviews. Side note, Costco has this TV for the same price, they offer 2 years streaming on Sony's Higher bitrate platform and 15 movies vs 12 and 5 from everyone else. Still just going to keep my order from ABT
