I like the record storage rack, does the top portion have detents built in so as to keep the LP's from sliding forward ?
Unfortunately it does not. It was >100 bucks so so surprise. It kind of matches the other wood/metal items I have and was small enough for the spot. The ones in the top seem to stay where I put them so far but they do not have sleeves on them as they are old albums.I like the record storage rack, does the top portion have detents built in so as to keep the LP's from sliding forward ?
Very nice! Is that a 10" tonearm? Did you get a package deal with one of their own cartridges, or using one you had?Behold. The planar 3 RS. Quite the change over the music hall. More bass weight for sure.View attachment 72232

It is 9 and yes, it was a package deal. External power, upgraded belt, new plinth and the Nd5 MM cart.Very nice! Is that a 10" tonearm? Did you get a package deal with one of their own cartridges, or using one you had?
Fair enough. Many seem to like the Rega approach of low mass everything, and offering a lot of little upgrades. It is 9 and yes, it was a package deal. External power, upgraded belt, new plinth and the Nd5 MM cart.
No other carts at the moment and only the MM in built into the Michi. Down the road I can see a phono preamp and a MC cart but this was such a change, that I am going to enjoy it. The dust cover has to be open all the way and I have some space issues to deal with. So for now, I take it off when using it.Fair enough. Luxman doesn't offer much. They're into n high mass, and their only option with the lower level PD-151 Mk2 is a necessary one...the dust cover. With the only other TT they offer, the PD-191A, it's the same though without the dust cover you can add a mount that allows adding a 12" second tonearm to the standard 10" LTA-710. Very different engineering approach...and cost structure.
Enjoy! Curious if you have any other cartridges kicking around. Do you have a phono preamp that can handle moving coil cartridges?
I saw your thread but don't use many wireless buds. Those were actually the ones I was reading about. Nice.Well, did not get much input on this site (Helps if I post in right forum)
After much deliberation, I decided to try the Technics EAH-AZ100. With minimal use, so far, I am impressed with the sound quality and the ANC (while not as good as the Sony) is still very usable. They are much more comfortable to wear. Will do an in-depth comparison when I get mine back from service
- Sony WF-1000XM4 experienced the battery drain flaw that this model is known for. Sony is providing free repair even though they are 7 months out of warranty.
- I use earbuds mainly for working out and when I fly, noise canceling and SQ are important
- Bose and Sony have best ANC, but not the best reliability. Did not go to the newer Sony XM5s for that reason

I forgot to mention a big plus. Multipoint connection to 3 devicesI saw your thread but don't use many wireless buds. Those were actually the ones I was reading about. Nice.
Sorry I missed your post on new Buds. I have a pair of Sony WF-1000XM4 buds, as well as Bose Quiet Comfort 2 Headphones. The noise cancelling is great in both, and I too used them for flying, working in the yard (If it's too hot I use the Sony Buds, if cold I use the Bose Headphones), etc. I also use them to listen to sports podcasts almost everyday while making dinner. I've had zero problems with both, although I was miffed at Sony changing terms and conditions regarding privacy after I had them for almost a year. I hope your Techniques serve you well, and they aren't collecting data about your use.Well, did not get much input on this site (Helps if I post in right forum)

what's your avg run time ?Haven't bought much audio/video stuff for a while outside of a few discs.....but since I have posted about my e-moto, I did have some cash at the end of the year and lined up some nice little improvements...primarily this battery that elevates performance significantly on my Surron LBX https://www.nab-batteries.com/product/sur-ron-street-pack-72v42ah/18?cs=true&cst=popular
I used the term "licorice pizza" way back when. That reminds me of two or three great record stores around town called "The Wax Museum". Dinkytown and Richfield in the Twin Cities. They go back to the early 70's maybe even before that. I shopped there in the mid to late 70's until they disappeared in the 80's I still have several of their poly-lined or I think rice paper lined dust sleeves.Very nice, keep spinning that 'black pizza' !
How does the anti-skate work on that? I don't see a hanging weight or a knob in the photos.Behold. The planar 3 RS. Quite the change over the music hall. More bass weight for sure.View attachment 72232

It is a different design. This is the setup that I had to do.How does the anti-skate work on that? I don't see a hanging weight or a knob in the photos.
