I have been a Kanto fan for a while, I own the Tuk and Yu6 and have been a happy customer.

I am going to repurpose my Kanto Tuk for another room and will be replacing my desktop monitors with the Ora4 which I just pre-ordered today. I heard them at AXPONA, and was waiting for them to come out and they release in November.

Pleasantly surprised they are releasing in white as it matches the aesthetics of my setup. Suprised their website lists CAD and not US Prices.

Are you going to match them with a subwoofer, as their efficient LF response is limited to 60-70 Hz?

Went to Audio Video Therapy of Nashua NH and picked up an Audio Techina AT33 Mono cartridge that I'd ordered over the phone last Friday. Got it mounted on the new old-stock Jelco HS-50R Mk2 headshell that I'd got a few days ago from an eBay seller in Canada, and it's playing gloriously. This is SO much better than the unsheilded Grado M+E cartridge that I just couldn't get along with!

AV Therapy is great to work with. I could live there with all of the great stereo equipment they have.

John Rein treats me SO good that although Safe & Sound is 20 minutes closer I don't even bother. I had to tell him last night to charge me more for that cartridge. List is $299 and I talked him UP to $200.

I was going to look into micro subs on the used market:
SVS Micro 300
REL T/5x
KEF KC62 if I can get a really good deal

I don't need a huge space as my office is only 12x14

It finally came out in Blu-ray! Now I can retire the VHS copy.

Also an addition to my "giant bug" horror classics!

Nice! I never had a mono record, so I never had to worry about buying a mono cart.

I attended a gathering of folks from the Audiokarma forum for the fall edition of their bi-annual Frankenfest event. This was held in West Boylston Massachusetts, and is named in honor of the guy who started it decades ago, the late Frank Carpenter. (It has nothing to do with Frankenstein.)

It's an event that has folks bring systems to demonstrate, but also has an element of a swap meet where people sell equipment and...records. I sold off a Yamaha P-550 turntable, a Pioneer SX-203 receiver, and a few other sundry items that netted me a total of $80. Then I spent that much plus another $24 to get 16 albums.

Only the Pink Floyd "The Wall" did I already own, but copy I bought in the months after release is in poor shape compared to this one. None are worse than VG- condition on the media, most much better than that.

I also got 20 new old-stock Maxell XLS-90.II blank cassette tapes for $30. I do have a cassette deck though it's not a great one and isn't on my system. Maybe I just offer them to @3db ??

Very happy!

Turns out that I spent only $74 on the 16 records, because I spent $30 for 20 of the Maxell XL-II 90 blank cassette tapes, which I don't know if I'll ever use.

For an average of $4.63 each for the records and $1.50 each for the blank cassettes, I think I did well today.
