Not planning on buying at this time, but I'm off to audition a pair of Paradigm Founder 100Fs tomorrow. They're finally on the floor at a shop that's within a reasonable travel distance.

Honestly, my old Studio 100 V2s seem like they are sounding better than ever these days with the various other newer equipment I've picked up in the last few years. They're also 25 years old though. I keep waiting for a driver to crack/tear or something like that. Otherwise I probably wouldn't even be looking. The 100Fs seem like a natural choice to look at as something that might step in to replace them and I think they also look fantastic on the aesthetic side. If they sound as good as they look, I will surely be torn about buying or not.

Today, via UPS, I received Dayton Audio Classic B40 speakers, which sound great for being so small. Peace and goodwill.

They are beautiful. I like the midnight cherry. The black walnut also looks Beautiful. I like wood veneers.
