What Makes a Good Audiophile YouTube.com Video?

Why do you admire that Gene when your team works hard to provide objective reviews with data? Isnt Andrew just spouting off opinions and subjective fluff? Im confused.

I admire his channel growth and production value not necessarily the actual content.

I worked at a music store and one of the guys named his dog 'Rzzz'.

I live in the Milwaukee area and we have the longest-running Zappafest in the US- this year makes it 25 years in a row and once again, Ike Willis will be guest host. They don't play the easy stuff, either. Apparently, it will be live streamed.

That's challenging for most and tbh, to capture a general audience, they don't really care for all the technical stuff. Just look at Andrew Robinson videos. He has the highest views and the least technical presentations. I admire his production quality and ability to grow his channel.

I liked Andrew's channel better before he included his wife in the show. Nothing against her really. But it's kind of redundant and arguably fluffy. He's always used that "chocolatey" <wink> language so there's some cringe to the channel. Mostly he's reviewing what I want to know about and his presentation is appealing so I catch it, but his priorities are usually different from mine. It's not a "must see" kind of thing. As an example to the original question, I'd say he's a good place to start for an example for showing what's new to the show. Gene's technical information and pragmatic delivery make his show my favorite in this arena. Sometimes I realize I need to understand something better and I look to Gene for that. I appreciate somebody that doesn't try to tell me that a 1 or a 0 on a cheap cable isn't the same as a 1 or a 0 on Gucci cable. But at the same time, doesn't disparage a guy buying Gucci. Oh, and honestly, I ain't never liked anyone that referred to themself as an "audiophile." That's a designation of attitude, not aptitude.
