My friend's house in Lynnwood off Hollywood (near Eber) flooded above the baseboards earlier today. :(

I wasn't over there but he had 4 people helping move stuff and try to block off the house with sandbags but there was just too much water coming too fast.

Worst of all he doesn't have flood insurance. I bet he will after this storm though. :(

I've been trying to talk my wife into moving to Florida.
So, I'm relying on all FL members to help me convince her, at the AH event in October.
And make sure she doesn't see these pictures!:D

I'll bet you'll find most people in Brevard County don't have flood insurance. I'm one of those without. But I live in a flood hazard zone "X". Basically I'm out of the 100 year floodplain.

I'm sure by tomorrow we'll be on all of the national news networks.

Where in Jersey? You can have my house, and I'll take yours.

I may not be able to make it back home now. And I drive a pickup truck!
Lake Washington Road is already 12" under water and rising. My people can't leave and the other shifts can't make it into work.
12"? that happens everytime it rains here :) it helps that i work and live in the same compound :)
