Interestingly enough...

... following the well established formula: my porn name would have been Sam Redwood, a respectable name in its own right, but I always prefered the name Jack Hammer, So I've used it on and off as an alias for the last 25 years or so....

I get asked this question quite a bit actually.

Haoleb is broken down into two parts Haole, which is a name that locals will call a tourist or someone from the mainland here in hawaii. Basically anyone who is white. To some people its kind of a racist term but I was born and raised here and dont feel that way. And the second part the "b" which is the first letter of my first name (and last for that matter) Which is Brandon. Hence, Haoleb. Quite often gets misspelled when others try and write it to. I would say about 80% of the time. :)
LOL. I had a white cat when I was little so we named him Haole. My mom was born and raised on Oahu. I kind of thought that, but the "b" threw me off...

Well I used to have a G4, now I have an Intel Mac. Personally I would like to change mine to just my name, but Clint said it is not easily done.

When I see time-bomb names like that I crack up. Like the people who use their high school graduation year in their email... Really proud of that achievent, huh? lol.

Well, in my case, when I started getting online, back in the early 90's, I could never seem to sign up to a site with just Darien. And since I had just recently graduated high school, 87 was the first number that came to mind. So I ended up darien87. I've just kept it the same after all these years for consistency. It's a pain in the *** to have to remember a bunch of different screen names.

Plus my high school years were some of the best of my life. I was a BMOC in my high school.

I had the same issue with almost any derivation of my name or nickname as well, so I used to tack on an 88 (my favorite number) to all of my handles. People normally never interpreted that as my birth year until the past few years (when kids born in 88 were old enough to be all over the internet), but once I started getting questions on sites as to whether I was a teenager I had to change my handles!

Another funny story- one of my first AOL ids (circa 1993) was AMB79 (my initials and my birth year). The amount of emails and private messages that I used to get from dirty men on that site who mistook me for a female, they thought AMB was short for Amber, was absolutely INSANE. After constantly getting solicited for cyber sex (even though my profile said "male") I had to change my handle so I could be left alone.

Oh no- college was so much better.... by a factor of 10,000
Not for me. I partied just as much in high school as I did in college. Don't know where we always managed to get the alcohol though. College was pretty much the same, except I had to pay bills.
