It's a mess, but what a bunch of dimwits out there. I cannot believe people are saying yeah do whatever you want Putin. I'm guessing the drone attacks on Russia were to slow their territorial progress before peace talks. Not sure though cause it's still going on. I think Trump is in no man's land cause he says gobbledegook like oh I was so disappointed Putin attacked! Either he's really this dumb, or handcuffed cause Russia is the bigger power. But the people making these comments it's soooooooo dumb like caveman/dinosaur level. Trump I can vaguely see not wanting to stir things, but the people on the www have hay for brains. I think the person who said Trump has created a dumber America is pretty accurate.

Russia is known for honoring their treaties.

I'd think even a kindergartner could figure this one out.

In what ways is Russia the bigger power? Are you referring to them being allied with NK, Iran and China?

The size, population, and industrial military complex is bigger in Russia.
Size, yes- population is less than half of the US population. I might remind you how the US and allies won WWII- our manufacturing, having been unaffected by damage from attacks, was able to shift from consumer goods to military and while US manufacturing is far from what it was, it can still produce a lot of goods, if needed. Who makes materiel for the US military? Most is still made here. Subassemblies may come from other places, but we still have the most aircraft, missiles, largest navy, etc. Look into the assets that are mothballed, waiting to be recommissioned.

If their Military Industrial Complex is so huge, why haven't they squashed Ukraine like a bug? Why did they bring NK into it? Their people are tired of what's happening, too.

It is not the size of military industrial complex that matters. Taliban got the better of us - we have as politicians like to say the most lethal army.

Right- it's effectiveness but how would you fight an enemy who dresses like the common people, rather than wearing uniforms?

Do you know the inhumane tactics they used, that involved strapping bombs on people & animals? Hard to say that's part of a Military Industrial complex.

The Taliban won the same way the NVA/VC won in Vietnam. They didn't have to win on the battlefield, they just waited until the foreigners packed up and went home.

"All's fair in love and war" and "Know your enemy"- and still, battles rage. It's well past time to find better ways to settle differences.
