Oh sure. But he restored one just like it. He knows about the suspension of the thing, the tonearm, the whole shootin' match. That ortofon Black may need precise angles I don't know about. I can set tracking weight, but that anti-skate weight he'd know what notch to hang it from. Plus it probably needs damping fluid, about which I'm like Sgt. Schultz. I think he said he has spindle oil. I'd be surprised if he didn't. I could learn a thing or two about the machine from him. Hopefully he has time this weekend. The cartridge came in today. I ordered it mounted because I really like the Ortofon headshell and it will save time in setting things up. I need to make sure Ortofon mounted it correctly. I have a protractor.
@TLS Guy still uses a protractor he made when he was something like eight years old.
