All that squeaking...

Used the STI bushings with the forged arms and they created a misalignment that ended up scoring the bushings. Switched to stock bushings and all is good now, except that it is softer feeling. I'll be switching them out for the Whiteline press in bushings at some point for a bit more front end control.

New shoes last night too. They were at the wear indicators and I liked them so I got the same ones. Slip sliding around no more :)

Between sti seats and new grill, I'm confident you've added a few horse powers :)
On side note i done some fairly aggressive driving on my outback 3.6r, and I gotta say - both power delivery and handling are very nice

Hey j_garcia, what model Forrester is that? Is it the XT2.5?

What model Forrester would you recommend? Top of the line?

I'm thinking about a "new" used car in the next year or so. I think Forrester, WRX, and Jeep are on my short list.

I'm really leaning more to the Jeep because it can definitely get me places the Subarus can't. More importantly.....Jeeps are a LOT easier to work on yourself.

Yes, this is a 2.5XT. They're pretty rugged since the chassis was designed for rally and I have a friend who rally-x's his, but not necessarily a crawler. There are guys that lift them and take them off road though. If the goal is for a true off road vehicle, jeep is probably a better choice. On the street though... this thing is a lot of fun :D

Yeah, now I see a Jeep right beside your Subaru in one of the pics. Is that your Jeep too?

Went out fishing and offroading yesterday, with my buddy and his Jeep! Nothing like a Jeep in 4 wheel drive and some muddy rough roads!

That's my dad's jeep, he has two :) They are definitely fun, in a different way. I was at their house washing the FXT.

Put miles on it this week - 822 Fri-Sun. Epic road from my town to the coast. OMFG the drive alone would have been worth it.

Started early

The Mad River. We're in a drought so that's pretty low, but good to see it flowing.

I like this simply because its a Subaru! My wife's is an '02, 230k and runs like a champ! We'll definitely buy another when this one blows up, but I'm still doubtful that Subaru will bring its diesel's state side by the time that happens...

This one now has 146K on the clock on the original turbo and still hauls butt like a champ. The other one is a 97 that has 270K and shows no signs of getting tired yet. My daughter's is a 2011 and has 110K and my son's has 120K. We're a bit of a Subaru family :D

They basically give me an allowance to buy their freebie gear and hand it out. I already gave out all of my stuff from my first order for an event that is coming up at Laguna Seca (that I can't attend).

I was kidding but now that I think about this I do know a couple of Subaru families. The one daughter owns two of them I think. She'd probably love a Subaru fanny pack. I guess you're using all yours. :D

just messin' with ya

Funny thing is, a LOT of the free gear seems to be dog-centric, so they are assuming most Subaru owners have dogs? (I do :D )

Go for a drive on Hwy 1/ PCH around Big Sur and take some pics for me please!

What?! How do you 'not attend' an event at Laguna Seca?! I just don't even know who you are any more. :p

Congratulations on the Ambassadorship.
