I certainly hope Preludes come back. I love mine and will never get rid of it. Sounds like you've been through your share of Hondas. Here in Philly you rarely get to get up to third before you into somebody's trunk.

I will say I had my #$$ handed to me by a 350Z a couple of months ago.

Mmmmm... 350Z/G35 has one damn fine motor and a good chassis. Road & Track still picked the S2000 over it though (vs Convertible). That should say a lot about Honda

Why not? The new honda Accord has the same horsepower as the older mustang(or there abouts).

For a week when my parents were in mexico I had my dads Pilot. Everyone that pulled up beside me was eating dust by the bucket loads! Was STILL pulling at 180kph.

I'm looking at a Prelude right now. Maybe by this weeked I will have it.

Honda fan all the way . The sad thing is, when you drive a Honda on the busy road, somehow everybody else looks like they are driving slower ? Why? I've seen many cars got pulled over by the cops, and many times they are Honda, either Accord or a Civic. Is there a discrimination here? I won't let go off my Civic Ex. I have my eyes on Acura TL...hmm...will take me some time though, I still need to get my surround speakers.

There are TWO replacements for displacement - FORCED INDUCTION and WEIGHT REDUCTION I know, FI it isn't the same thing, but it does work and weight reduction works in every case - power to weight ratio is everything. Cars can be quick without having huge displacement. Displacement is still a good thing though I drive modified Japanese cars but hate riced poser morons too. I love to pick on those guys.

My R was stupid quick for a 4cyl car - the main reason: light weight. I raced a guy in a Mustang GT. I had him off the line because I got the hole shot, but he pulled ahead by 3rd gear as expected - I was right on his butt though, less than a car length up to about 110. We get to the next light and he is making hand signals to the effect of "Yeah, I'm cool..." The sad thing though is that I kept up with him; I couldn't gain on him, but he couldn't pull away from me, with half the cylinders and less than half the displacement, and he was happy about that??

The Z06 is a phenomenal car for the money and the sound is out of this world. I got to see and here one at a car show right before I left with a cam and exhaust.

MY biggest beef with the S2000 is it's power band which is way too narrow to be a daily driver. Great looking car but I need torque!!

The 350z, I really do want this car and maybe if I can get the SRT-4 paid off why over here I'll pick one up. To me it has everything, power, looks, RWD and handling.

Amen to that. That's why I've moved to slower cars rather than faster ones I'm more interested in great handling than ultimate speed these days. If the points and the resulting insurance increase weren't enough, almost being killed certainly gave me a new perspective.

I agree, the Z06 kicks some serious butt. I saw one the other day accellerate from the light...damn what a nice sound. Nothing much else on the street quite compares to the sound of a 7 liter V8 hard on the throttle
