I can't speak as to whether the SVS Ultra Evo Center will be a good match with your newer Speakers, but it will be a step above the Klipsch.
The Klipsch will sound like what you had before... usually bright. Because it is an MTM, it will have some other issues as you move off axis (left or right from center).
The SVS Ultra Evo Center is a W/TM/W where the Tweeter and Mid are vertically aligned. This negates some of the more common off-axis concerns. It will be a better Center than the Klipsch in that area.
In support of TLS' comment, the center should only really be a point of interest if you are listening to programming that calls for a discrete Center Channel (watching a movie on your TV, or listening to a specific 5.1 audio recording). Do you need the Center for Stereo listening?

Or are you upmixing your stereo listening to Multi-channel?
As for how it will sound in your room, I cannot comment. That will be up to you and your ears.
