I forgot to mention that the openings are actually doors but due to either the limitation of Microsoft Visio or my lack of imagination, I left them out. The stairs/storage area is closed with a bi folding door. The only door that remains open would be the office door. Everything else is closed.

Hmm.. No idea what the open office door will do. I always thought that an opening to another room meant adding that to the total calculation for room size. Also I don't know what the effect of the room will be resonance wise.
