Ah, got it, wasn't think of the chromecast function. Reminds me of early miniDSP limits on input/output.

That's what Wiims use to do the multiple unit playback.

Weird, I would had thought WiiM would of had it's own protocol for multiroom sound.

BTW, Heos got all glitchy again with my X2800H, S960H doesn't seem to be affected. So I'll likely keep the WiiM since Heos can't be trusted to be reliable. Shame considering what it has to offer as far as features.
