Hey John, what about the Sprees? I used to eat them every time I went to a theater. Now, it cause my blood sugar to spike.

Cheers,

Phil
I used to like Spree too, but not really anymore. I still eat SweetTarts all the time though, when I need a little flavor. The giant chewy ones every once in a while too...:) Smarties too.

You got me intersted now. I have had caramel popcorn before but it is not salty. What is the dominant sweet flavour in Kettle corn that compliments the saltiness:confused:???
True Kettle Korn is literally made in a kettle of sorts, basically just a big hot tub and they put both sugar and salt in there as the corn pops (with whatever fatty agent to get it sizzling such as butter). It is as simple as that. The stuff they have at the theater is Orville Reddinbacher, but it isn't like the microwave stuff by a long shot. The microwave stuff isn't that good because you don't get any of that "crisp" of the sugar/salt mixture that you get from air or microwave popping. The sugar doesn't caramelize, it just sort of melts and sticks, becoming a semi-coating, so while it does taste similar to caramel corn, the salt ads an extra fun factor :D

Oh yes John, I forgot about the smarties. :D:D I also like the sweetarts too. Just don't get much candy anymore due to me being a diabetic.

Phil

Very good point. With me not having any dental insurance it also can get quite expensive.

When I'm in the theater, nothing.

When I'm in my Home Theater, It's always pops/beer, Chips, and 7 layer dip.

Sheep, that sounds like a good plan. The best thing is when at home you can drink until you pass out. :D:D When at a bar, there is always the concern of driving home. Nothing like a good old cold beer with pizza and a good movie if you ask me. Oh, having female company is always a plus as well. ;);)

LOL. I was at the store and they happened to have some Crackerjacks so I grabbed 'em. Not Kettle Korn, but it will do in a pinch.

Yeah I like all the above. The Milk Duds were also quite good. I even like Skittles every now and then. However, my blood sugar just keeps going up just thinking about all this candy.:eek:

I'm sure we can come up with some more, but it has nothing to do with the movies anymore :D We were at the store the other day and they had something that was chocolate with Pop-rocks in it? Too afraid to try.... They still sell Pop rocks, though I haven't had those in a LONG time. The kids like them though.

Nerds.
