Hello!

I have a decent little system I am hoping to sell or trade. Please take a look and see if there is anything here that intrests you.

Mirage M7si Speakers - These large (4 foot high, 80 pounds each) black, monolith-style speakers were originally $1200. They have a 1 inch tweeter, 8 inch woofer/mid, and a rear-firing 5 inch mid, creating what Mirage calls an "Omnidirectional" speaker system. The speakers are wrapped in black "sock" type grills and have piano-black lacqured caps and bases. They are bi-wireable. These are the little brothers of the world-famous M3si and M1si models, and retain much of the quality and dynamics of the larger systems in a smaller package intended for smaller rooms. They need a bit of power as they are a little inefficient (86 db, I think.)

Hafler 945 tuner/pre-amp - This Pre-amplifier/Tuner is full function, remote control included, black, and in perfect working order.

Sony TA N55ES 2 channel amplifier - 110 wpc into 8 ohms, bridgeable to mono, black, with volume and speaker selection knobs on the front. I do not have the wooden side panels. This amp drives the inefficient Mirages perfectly.

In sales, I am asking $300 for the speakers and $250 for the Hafler and Sony (each, not together.) Also, please note that the speakers are big suckers and shipping will be costly (I am in Indianapolis and am willing to deliver/meet halfway to nearby cities.)

I would rather trade this system, or parts of it, for a different style of system. I need a small, simple bookshelf system, but I want to keep the quality high so I'm not going to buy one of the new mini-systems. I am looking for a good pair of bookshelf/monitor speakers and an integrated amp. I don't need a tuner or any switching ability, and any miniature components would be great since I am looking to conserve shelf space.

I have always liked the Carver slim-line amp and pre-amp, so I would likely trade for those 2. I would love to get my hands on the Paradigm Active bookshelf speakers that they aparently don't make anymore. The new Musical Fidelity X series componetns are very attractive and small. I also liked the NAD cobination CD-player/receiver that had a short life span a few years ago.

I am looking for simple and compact here. Anybody have any ideas, or any interest in my stuff? Please let me know!

Thanks!
