I got my levels matched in the living room. I have a new found awareness of unity gain ... well I'll ask it here because I don't know enough to start a thread.

I think I want to set my EQ -8dB below unity gain so that I can do a little boosting at a couple of frequencies.

I know that my amp can max out a signal at 0.96 V.

How do I know what my rec'r is putting out at +10 gain at a master volume setting of -10.

I think I may need to RTFM on a few pieces of gear.
