Thanks for asking. She's moving around quite well again. I believe that the medicine is doing its job. She's about 4.5 years old.

She still tried to get me to get up several times last night, but I held out until almost 7am. Time to get ready and head out for a walk (or ride to the park...we'll see what she wants to do).

BTW - the reasons that I've been out are work and Niki not feeling well. The combination has left me busy, stressed, and sleep-deprived. I got home last Friday night from work to find that Niki was having trouble standing up. Long story short, she appears to have hurt her back. Maybe she hurt it while we were walking at the nearby state park. She's on some meds and is doing much better, though.

I believe so. The vet (who is a cute woman) checked Niki's hips. While kneeling on the ground behind Niki, grabbing her rear end, and moving her hips around, she said, "wow, your hips move really well, girl."

If I hadn't been so worried about Niki, I might have blacked out from lack of blood getting to my brain.
