What's going on in last few week, It was mostly quiet for a while, but lately either our 5-0 is slacking, or trolls getting fancier, but I added more people to ignore list in last few weeks than in last year or so...
Schools are not out yet. It's not a xmas/bonus time...

Or is it just me getting too close to big four oh and getting old and cranky ?

Nah, there's been a heavy influx of the same damn 3-4 questions being asked. No one is willing to go out and listen to the thing they're willing to spend hundreds if not thousands on!

You can't have cleared codes in Mass? Around here if you got a check engine you just clear the codes and drive around town for a while to reset enough of the sensors to pass.

I'm not throwing codes. It's an exhaust leak after the cat that needs repair. I try not to drive vehicles that have CELs or anything else wrong with them for that matter.

My last repair was an intake cam position sensor on an '08 Malibu. Clearing and resetting wasn't getting it this time but that trick did work a few years ago. This time it was a $55 part.

I'm definitely getting cranky prior to old age. The apathy and total lack of effort, even from "good" kids is starting to really grind my gears. The kids are in summer mode with 7 weeks of school left. FML.

It is one of the most pleasurable perks of getting old(er). The older you get, the more "cranky" stuff you can say/do and get away with it! Enjoy!!!

I'm feeling the burn. I was away at a conference three weeks ago, where I run a course, gave two talks plus two panel dicussions...

Been busting my tail catching up on everything I'm behind on at work ever since. Working the weekend plus double shifts during the week because can't get enough coverage. Dealing with a nasty sinus infection and it's rained for about ten days straight not that I even see the outside much in my dark windowless work cave. I really need a day off that has no social function or trumped up Mother's day nonsense. I'm 54. Is that old enough to be cranky?

OK rant is over. At least I did finally submit a paper I've been writing forever so that's done. With thanks to Swerd who got my references in order.
