My license was renewed at the beginning of the year but because it's tied to my green card it expires at the end of this month too as did my green card. Luckily my 1o year green card came in not too long ago.

This is sort of odd/funny/bizarre: The country I was born in, Yugoslavia no longer exists. The region fell apart into like 5 countries. So I guess Yugoslavia became Serbia in the eyes of the USA. I am now considered Serbian by the US. I've known about this for a good week but just today it hit me that I might be able to get a Serb passport. I think I still have my childhood Yugoslavian passports.

I'm neither Serbian or Yugoslavian. In fact both of those nationalities have been our mortal enemies, each in their turn. This is jaw droppingly ironic. So now when I filled out the license info, under place of birth I wrote Serbia. I couldn't have it not jive, right?

What up gents. Seems like Adam and Greg are still AWOL. We are finally starting to get some decent weather up north.

I've been back on the road bike so money is going into that. I am doing a week long tour called Cycle Adirondacks at the end of August as part of the crew. So I get to ride all the routes and take advantage of the food and amenities in exchange for helping people, giving info about the area and making all the route maps.

I've been back on the road bike so money is going into that. I am doing a week long tour called Cycle Adirondacks at the end of August as part of the crew. So I get to ride all the routes and take advantage of the food and amenities in exchange for helping people, giving info about the area and making all the route maps.

I guess I should make an appearance, if Adam and Greg aren't. I can't explain why I haven't been showing up...too busy with life, I suppose. I know - sad.

I can report no changes to any of my HT/2-channel setups. I reset the timer for my PJ bulb, though - for the second time. It now has over 5000 hours on it. I still have the spare it came with, as a back-up.

Recently bought a cheap-a$$ smoker and if it lasts a year or two and I like the results, I may invest in a Weber Smokey Mountain Cooker.

It's been "good" busy, for the most part. I just bought the smoker, so I haven't had a chance to try it yet. This weekend...hopefully. I have a gas grill and I've tried smoking with it by using a wood chip box but to generate any smoke, the grill has to be too hot to properly smoke anything.
