Needed to open the garage doors to pull out another piece of maple. Closed them as quickly as I could but the humidity is so bad I've had to abandon the garage for the moment while the AC cycles. Thanks for killing time with me!

Summer reading is ready and on the table

I could eat some cake. I won't, but I could. I mean, you know, if it were in front me, I'd probably eat it.
F@#k. Now I want cake. Thanks Adam! You big tease.:p:D

Long ago, I saw a tree that had fallen on a Benz parked further away from the stores in a strip mall than it needed to be. I was watching the rain pour down and having a smoke under the overhang above the sidewalk in front of the shops. A man came by and took in the same view. I said, "can you imagine the look on that a$$hole's face when he sees that tree on his car?" The man of course replied, "yeah, that's my car".

No crime was committed but it was not for a lack of trying. Turns out some people you just can't reach. As an example I'll just say that in South Fla, it's illegal to hang a kitchen cabinet without a permit and an inspection ... or it use to be anyway. It's not quite Sons of Anarchy ovah heah but ... it's the thought that counts.

In the Jacob Javitz center in NYC, if you are an exhibitor you can't even plug in a cheap ass 6' extention cord. You have to call a union electrician to do it and, naturally, pay the going rate.
