Definitely. Aside from some of the CNC favors he's done for me, he's answered a few dozen questions I've asked him about his speakers and speaker design in general.
Kinda like Bob, from AB International. I've never even purchased anything from him directly, but I almost always get a same day reply from him if I have any questions about any used gear I've purchased.
Not well known but great guys to talk to or buy stuff from.

Check out this Aragon amp! $860 with the fins banged up! I'd love to get that for mine but eBay is the Devil and shipping is just sh!t. Besides ... I could use 6 amp channels in Mantown. 2 for the subs, 2 for the MBOW1 3-ways once they get fixed and 2 for the OWS-1's that are for the TV.
Gettin' me some more PT and then the little bandage that's been glued to my knee for over a week comes off at the doc's. Yay, no more taping ziplocks to my knee for showers. My monkey has been pretty rank. Don't judge.

Local pickup isn't a problem once summer break hits, but right now it ain't happenin'.
I gotta tell you if you ever have the chance to get a Cinepro 3K6SE any of the versions, it's not going to heat the heck out of your room. It doesn't generate much heat through the heatsinks and any heat it does generate is quickly dissipated with the fans on the heatsinks. Plus it has 6 channels. Want one?
Yikes, I remember when my Dad had to wrap his leg in plastic for showers after he got shot. That didn't smell too great after awhile either.

After a long hiatus, I just got offered a faucet on Vine this morning and snagged it. First time since, I believe, last July. I was (sadly, I know) super excited about it. Good thing that I was awake at 3am, too...there were only two left when it showed up, and the east coaster Viners have got three hours on me in the mornings. #firstVineproblems

Yea, so that happened. It was when I was in high school. It was a home invasion gone awry and if the gun hadn't jammed after he got shot and then wrestled it away from one of the guys it would have gone at least a little differently. In any case, he's no longer a guy you want to sneak up on anymore. He's still a little skiddish.........and he's packing 24/7/365.
I think you can still google the newspaper articles about it. Big news in a small town.
