I might also simply get a tablet instead since I don't really do much other than browsing on my laptop these days. Though I'm also considering an iMac

My wife's laptop is having issues so I'm considering buying a mac. Someone talk me off the ledge.

My wife has been using the same mac for about 6 years without any significant issues so talking you off the ledge is almost impossible , they are great machines.

Couldn't have happened at a better time. I ended up getting the 16gb.

Removed the faceplate from the RAAL 70-20 so that I could send it to John at Source Speaker, who's cutting the speaker kit for me, so that I could send it to him for an accurate cutout. He should get the faceplate later this week and he should start cutting the kit next week or the week after.

So I started ripping my CD collection to FLAC on my NAS over the weekend. I got through 23. Only 550-ish to go....

I'll definitely be backing up that sucker on a separate drive.

Sonos is up and running - works great!

IIRC weren't there services that would rip your CD collections to an HD?
Maybe they aren't around anymore...
