Thanks for posting the R.L. Burnside tune. Looks and sounds very similar to his contribution of "Jumper On the Line" from the 1992 film "Deep Blues," produced by Dave Stewart (Eurythmics) and written/narrated by musicologist Robert Palmer. R.L. is older in that film, of course. Otherwise this video looks like it could have been an outtake. I highly recommend Deep Blues.
