Hi all. I've had a JTR 110HT 2.1 system for a few years now. It's paired with a Hsu ULS-15 Mk2 sub and a Buckeye 252MP class D Hypex amp. All in all, very good system in my living room.

That said, we've all likely heard of Perlisten on this forum. From everything I've read and heard this would probably be my ideal system. That said, I don't have the money to drop on the S7T or R7T or any of the like. Which is probably the main complaint of the Perlisten. Amazing speakers, just not in the budget sadly.

Enter the A-series, their "entry" line. Tbh I haven't really looked at them too much since they got announced. Yet I took another look today, to my surprise unless you want one of the towers, it looks like they're selling the sealed monitor A3M for $1795/each. That's not cheap at all, but still much cheaper than the other Perlisten speakers, and more in-line with how much the 110HT cost.

I'm not seeing many impressions online though, at least English ones. Pretty much all of the reviews I've found have been overseas, although it looks like there are a number specifically of the A3M and they seem glowing at least per the Google Translation lol.

In particular, Google Translate aside, Stereolife had this to say - purely anecdotal, but eyebrow-raising:

Admittedly, I haven't had the opportunity to conduct a direct comparison, but I tested the R5m less than two years ago and I remember perfectly how they sounded. In my opinion, the A3m offer not 50, not 70, but 90 percent of that sound.

So now I'm highly considering trying these out, and being sealed they ought to pair well with my sealed sub. Thoughts?
