Not that it's ugly; all the speakers have curved sides and a lacquer finish and the sub has rounded corners, but with it being a non-elegant shaped box, I prefer it out of sight. As for the screen, at present I project upon the front wall. At the time I splurged on the system, I was already stretching my budget and figured the screen could wait. Besides, the flat is rented, so not knowing what size my own living room will one day be, I couldn't have sized a screen accurately anyway. Regards

The Matrix Reloaded springs to mind where near the end, the film cuts from the Key-Maker decribing how to overcome all the security systems of a building to the window panes of a skyscraper cracking. The first time I heard those panels cracking I thought I must be hammering my sub, so I replayed the piece and felt the driver. It was only vibrating; no significant excursion at all. Since then, I tend not to worry about it. For reference, I tend to listen to DVDs with my volume set between -10 and -15dB. Update: I've just played 'the Darla scene' from Finding Nemo (known I believe to punish subs). I know this sounds like I am bragging, but honestly, nope. Plus stands for the surrounds at 1.771 times £200 gives $354, and a total of US$6534, though I paid less since I bought my entire system at the same time.
