After the US election there were some articles/YouTube on bulwark.com about people personally concerned just about Trump retribution, as I recall.

I wonder if Biden will give a more sweeping pardon to civil servants to help them avoid the coming Trump retribution, as have been speculated/wished by some talking/opinion heads.

If you really believe in law, let the chips fall where they may. Not just Biden & Hunter, but all politicians who break the law. If you believe yours is less corrupt, the results will show that. Of course that might include Trump being scrutinized, but oh well. :p

I haven't looked into it, but on the surface it's odd to me one of Hunter's charges is possession of an illegal firearm. If that came from the Republican House, it's pretty LOL given their support of firearms. Seems like 'conspiracy to gain govt contracts' or something or other.

I do believe in the laws, but the Democrats blew it by chanting "We're the party of the Rule Of Law" and then, they weren't.

You're incredibly dense. I think you may be approaching the density of a collapsed star. What, or who do you mean by "yours"? Mine? There is no 'mine' WRT politicians and you seem to believe that T-bag hasn't been scrutinized.

The right accuses the left of being godless and immoral. I dunno where you're getting your information from? I've never ever heard the left claim to be anywhere.

Which actions, lying or the pardon?

I watched a John Stewart video last night and he made an interesting comment- "Eleven years is awfully specific". What crimes did he commit eleven years ago that might cause him to be imprisoned and how serious were they? That hardly seems to be a case of "I'm only pardoning him for the crimes the general public know about".

Hunter lied about his drug use, which means he is guilty of a Federal crime. I wouldn't have as much problem if it had been less serious, but 'The Big Guy' lying about it for so long and then reversing? That's bad. Also, this was obviously during Biden's term, so we really don't need to see anything about weaponized DOJ.

From the second link-

"As I also said last week, I will accept the outcome of this case and will continue to respect the judicial process as Hunter considers an appeal."

The link also shows the potential penalties and this is a quote from that-

"Hunter Biden could face up to 25 years in prison and a fine of up to $750,000 at sentencing, though he likely will receive far less than the maximum as a first-time offender. "

Hopefully, nobody will check their spine at the door and let Trump do whatever he wants, to whomever he wants, for any reason. If he goes off the rails and heads down the mountainside, he needs to be stopped.

It's not just about having a gun illegally, that's a separate crime- he lied on the FBI's 4473 form about drug use. Read the links I posted- this is shown in both.

From the bottom of the second link, "Hunter Biden’s defense team argued, unsuccessfully, that he didn’t view himself as a user or addict when he bought and possessed the gun. Defense attorney Abbe Lowell had implored the jury to acquit Hunter Biden on those grounds."

Who better to ask if an addict is an addict, if not the addict, himself?

You guessed wrong. I'm not a fan. I stated this more than once. However, I criticize him for actual faillings. I mean, I wouldn't expect Trump to leave the golf course to personally deal with a BLM protest either.
