Pairing soundbar w/older sub wirelessly?

Ok, just found out that sub out is a full rage output that isn't subwoofer specific. No crossover. I'm liking this soundbar more and more for the money. I still can't believe I'm going to settle for a f'n soundbar but that's my situation at moment. Looking for a new house every day.

I hear you on the frustration of downsizing. I went from a dedicated HT room with 5.1 to a desk 2.0 setup a few years ago. Slowly built up to a living room 2.2 and bedroom 2.0. Have patience and don't lose heart. Things will get better.

Try a Yamaha YAS-203 soundbar with a wireless subwoofer that pairs automatically. Sounds great (for a soundbar).

Thanks, but if you look back in this thread, you'll see I have an existing Sub I'm trying to utilize, without buying another. The sub I have needs to be hardwired, as it has no wireless capability. I was looking into wireless audio transmitter/receiver kits, (that would essentially make my sub wireless) but have come to the conclusion they don't work well enough to coincide with my low tolerance for glitches.
