Ok guys, if you want something different that's very well recorded... UKULELE MUSIC!!!! Yes that's right... Trust me. This is a great add to the music library. Bohemian Rhapsody is pretty cool sounding on a ukulele!

Tom Waits - Heart Attack and Vine. A great, early Waits work, I'm on Jersey Girl now, a great Drifter's-like song that has been covered numerous times by numerous singers like Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi. A number of the covers are available on Youtube, but, as usual, you can enjoy the covers but then get back to the real thing from Tom, one of our supreme artists.

SheepStar,

How do you get videos to post like this?

Thanks,

Joe
They should all have "embedd" code below. Some will link fine like that and others may not. LOL, there is a Ukulele shop in our little Japan Town. I actually OWN one, it was my grandfather's - my family on my mom's side are from Hawaii.

Thanks a bunch! I figured it was something easy that I missed.

Very cool that you own a ukulele; I wish I had the talent to play one!

Here we go...

Dee Lucas's "Something To Ride 2". The way they manipulate and play with the sound stage is pretty cool. I'm not sure that youtube can do it justice but here ya go.

Heard this the other day on Sirius. Just DL'd it. One of the best covers I've heard.

The girlfriend turned me on (no pun intended) to some bluegrass that I've been listening to a lot lately: Old Crow Medicine Show. This is one of their more popular songs, but many other great one's exist...skizzerflake, I enjoyed the Infamous Stringdusters, you might enjoy this one...
