I have for now dali opticon 2 mk2 fronts and svs pb 2000 pro with denon x4800h. Will dali opticon vokal be enough for room 12.7x10.7x10 room. I can also buy dali rubicon vokal but is costing me 1.90 lakhs rupees while opticon vokal costing me only 80000 rupees. Will be massive difference between the two in dialogue clarity? For 1.90 lakhs i can buy both dali opticon vokal plus dali opticon 2 mk2 1 more pair to use as surround left right. Plz suggest thank you

i will put them as rear surround that will complete my 5.1
I believe Everett is suggest you consider using an Option 2 for center too. So that your left, right and center speakers are identical. This is typically ideal.

Generally speaking, center speakers are a form-factor compromise. It's a sonically worse speaker in order to fit it under/above a TV. But if you can fit another speaker identical to your L/R, it typically will sound better. Again, very generally, but typically bookshelf or tower speakers sound better than center speakers and are free from some issues that most horisontal center speakers have.

You're better off with a vertical 2 way than an MTM center due to loobing. Ideally if you have to comprise a center, a 3 way is your best bet if you can't can't do a vertical speaker.

MTM is mid woofer - tweeter - mid woofer, and in a horizontal orientation it has a very narrow sweet spot and has lobing

will audessey not help?
Not really as it's a design issue. There are MTM centers that do measure well, but not many, that's why I suggested another bookshelf from Dali if you can swing it.

If not I'd rather see something like a KEF coaxial center for a 3 way if the Dali three way is out of reach. They have excellent measurements and their coaxial design will provide good off axis sound.
