This was already discussed in another thread. Best option is to have the same 3 speakers up front but you need to have the space below the TV to fit the Opticon 2 vertically. If you lay it horizontally then it will have the same lobing issues as a 2-way centre speakers. They may also not sell the Opticon 2 as a single speaker (pairs only).
To match the timbre across the front, get one of the Dali centre speakers. The hybrid tweeter is also used in some of Dali's higher end speakers and it is supposed to improve horizontal dispersion. Tweeters begin to "beam" at higher frequencies. That is to say, the horizontal dispersion narrows as the frequency increases, so the response changes off axis. The hybrid tweeter is supposed help correct that problem. I have not seen measurements to confirm this but they have been using the hybrid design for quite a while.
