I would like to know what you guys recommend for a stereo? I need one that can push these speakers and be as small as possible or even be installed in the wall. What i need out of it is to be able to listen to my ipod and the radio. Could I use a car stereo? Any help would be great. Thanks

I'm not sure what the brand is, or how much they cost but I can find out. I would be careful about putting a volume control in the areas where you would be wet and possibly grounded- if the worst happens, whoever is touching the control will become the load, which could be lethal. I would put the control outside of the shower in a location that can't be accessed while inside.

Nobody said that you were putting the stereo in the shower but a volume control is still connected to a device that runs on 120VAC and under the right circumstances, it can be lethal. Any stereo will work but code requires that it's installed so that it's not possible to come into contact with any electrical conductor when in a wet area. Water dripping onto the shaft of a volume control can become a problem so it needs to be mounted outside of the shower area. Likewise, I'd use a remote control (which runs off of batteries) instead of a wired control.

Just as Mark suggested. Sounds like the OP has to give more detail as to his expectations.

I'm not sure how important the aesthetics of your room will be, but what you will get for 30-40 bucks is a waterproof junction box with holes to mate the box to PVC. You could build it into the wall so that only the faceplate shows if you are concerned with the way a box looks on the wall.
