When a person has a lot there will always be those that want a piece of the pie. Those that who are less fortunate who will turn their blame towards the haves and say "You are the reason I am poor." This is even more true with countries, and especially true in the Middle East where the US is almost a slave to the need for oil reserves, but the same governments that impoversh and torture their citizens, happily take US dollars and then point at America and say "They are the reason you are poor."
WMD? Yes, but not in the form of nuclear missles, but an entire nation being told that they are not responsible for their own faults, it is the fault of the USA and the solution is to hate Americans and attack them. To kill contractors walking the street, to kill people who are there for humanitarian purposes. Forget the soldiers, blow up your own people, then blame it on Americans.
And how would these poor, desperate people, with a government that doesn't care, but teaches hatred, be in 20 years? What would they be capable of if this pattern of hatred, lies, and deception was allowed to continue?
Every country can be pointed to as having faults and issues. But, the more a country has, the more focus there is on that country and the more issues others will have. Canada, while very proud, as every country should be, also sports a population less than the state of California... in a land area that is larger than the entire USA. Yet, a military that is not that large. I'm not sure that it matters at all, but taking cheap shots and calling names is not necessary for a neighbor that benefits so much to do.
What annoys me more is that I hear it so often... countries that are happy to sell to us, take our money, then shout out how much they don't like America. A world full of hypocrites pointing fingers and whining... it gets old.
