"My Theater now 99.9% done"

You guys with your dedicated rooms, "You Suck". Looks great. Where's the SVS? :D :D
Mine is 99.990% done:D, LOL I see you have a Behringer Ultra Curve pro DEQ 96/24 EQ I’m thinking about buying around x4 very soon 1/3 octave is the way to go mate.

You should really match the fronts with another set of the mains? And use the fourth one as back or an upper centre channel that works via extracting the signal from the centre phantom left and right, but you’d need a Dolby matrix decoder if you really want to have fun with films like Apollo 13 or Daylight or even Goldeneye and so on. Its all in the mix.

Keep it going, I only wish I had the dosh for a video projector oh well, that’s an impressive home cinema you have there.:) Thank you for sharing.:)

I watched a few movies so far and I like it much better with the black up front. So far the ceiling does not seem to be a problem. If I get ambitious again I might paint it the same as the other walls. I still have enough paint left.

Hey guys, I got a little ambitious over my break between summer and fall classes and did a little painting of the front of the room. What do you think? I am still debating on the rest of the ceiling; black, brown or leave it white?
The only walls/ceiling that need darker paint are those that reflect light, and attract attention from the screen during movies:)

From what I can see from the photo, you're 2-steps ahead of most people:)

Did you do the ceiling too? (at least in front where it reflects light)

Yes, I did the ceiling the same amount as the side. I boxed in the screen. So far I like it. I notice the ceiling a little bit, but I will have to watch some more to know if I want to darken more of it.

Very cool!

It looks great! Nice gear also. Your earlier set up looked really good as well. I dream of having a dedicated HT room. Maybe some day. It's pretty clear that's the "next step" for me in a few years or so.
