Does anybody know if somebody sells a 60" LCD T.V. that cost under $5000?

If you are talking about LCD rear projection, then there are plenty available. Flat panel LCDs at 60" are much more expensive.

The 60" Sony Grand Wega III (GWIII) can be found for around $3500.

I have a Sony GWIII and really like it. I looked at quite a few others including the Sammy DLP's and I thought the Sony had the best all round picture. The DLP's looked as good in HD but performed really poorly in SD.

I also think the rear projection LCD's have a better picture than the flat panel models. You are paying more for the flat panels for the benefit of size.
