Hello,
Does anyone have the latency of the SVS SB 1000 pro when it is set to LFE and its internal DSP is off?
I’m trying to set up my amp correctly.
I’ve read 6 ms elsewhere, as well as 25, i’d like to get some more solid information.
Thanks

I believe they are talking about the amount of delay needed for the sub and other speakers to hit at the same time. You'll want to attempt to run your AVR's correction routine.

Well, it’s the delay the amp takes to treat the signal, and it should be added to the distance (1ms equals roughly 1 feet). my amp doesn’t have a way to measure it and it has to be added manually.
Anyway, I got an answer from Jack Gilvey over at SVS and he says it’s 6 ms, no matter if you turn the features inside the sub on or off .
It’s roughly that figure in all of their subs. And the sound path transmitter adds an extra 25 ms.
I hope this is useful to someone.
