Johnny Depp And Amber Heard

Ok, I'm sick today, and getting quite bored. So I'll chime in.

I barely know who Johnny Depp is – that Pirates of the Caribbean guy, Edgar Scissorhands, and a few other odd-ball movie roles. I never much cared for him, and I never looked up what other movies he was in on Netflix. And Amber Heard, I never heard of her at all. Both seem like desperate attention-junkies.

This whole story about their divorce sounds like a lot of Hollywood publicity. It's just the thing for an aging actor who might be past his prime, or actresses who never were prime. Hollywood specializes in selling made-up drama. It's major product is just that – BS.

I believe you nailed it, my take is a big publicity stunt trying to jump start their careers. They both have thousands of fans following this trial. I can see a movie deal coming out of this

I don't think Johnny is some kind of virtuous or completely innocent victim. It takes 2 to tango, yes. What's hard to understand is being in it while it's happening. You get drawn in with this wonderful, smart, funny loving personality. Once you take the bait they set the hook and it's hard to get out. Then things get insane and I believe it's contagious. It rubs off on you. After a while you're no better than the one who started it, but usually the one on the defensive and reacting. Not initiating. Then they flip it on you, lie to everyone and paint you as the abusive bad guy... she wrote a freaking book about it.

I lived through that and it took getting away from it to really see just how bad it was. I look back and can't wrap my head around why I didn't just leave. Feelings aren't rational and I had them for her. That's all I can come up with. I can just imagine how he feels. I really can. It's infuriating to have someone falsely drag you through the mud like that, ruin your name and career, and get away with it.

He wins this I figure he’ll sue Disney for zillions of dollars he was the face of the movie franchise for 5 films and was booted off because of these allegations of her implying he was an abuser .

I can't imagine dealing with that once much less four times. My college roommate had a GF that was BP. It wasn't fun and I wasn't even the one dating her. She sure was hot though... :oops:

In a nutshell Amber accuses Depp of spousal abuse but it appears that it may have been the other way around. So far she's coming across as a manipulative, mean and nasty person and she's out to destroy his career. She took an anger dump in Johnny's bed. Like, literally pooped. Dropped a turd in his bed! It's pretty insane.

In case anyone questioned Amber Heard's judgement in choosing men after she married Johnny Depp, having a fling with Charlie Sheen removes all doubt.
 
They both have more money than I will ever earn. While these sort of issues are not OK, I don't have a ton of sympathy for Hollywood.

She needs to get tested then. I believe Sheen is HIV positive. Well Depp too.
 
Okay, I put some thought into this and signed the petition to have Amber removed from Aquaman 2.

It's almost at 4 million signatures now and I just added mine. I think she deserves the same thing that happened to Johnny. In fact if the roles were reversed, she was punished, he got off Scott-free and continued to be glamorized after having demonstrated abusive behavior himself I'd sign that too.

I think they were both horrible to each other. Her fueled by selfishness and narcissism and Johnny by drugs and alcohol. I think she started most of it, but he participated too so they're both guilty. They both deserve to be punished.

There's an injustice here tho because Johnny did get punished. He got crucified in the public eye, fired and his name was ruined while she was held up as this brave survivor of abuse and continues to get work from the same company that fired Johnny! Thats ludicrous to me. She clearly lied about quite a lot, and admitted in recordings to hitting him and starting fights. I think domestic abuse is serious and women like Amber Heard are an insult to to true victims of it, and does a lot of harm to the cause. She needs to be punished too, just like Johnny was. Letting people get away with serious false allegations like this cannot happen.

Well both have to cut down on their lifestyle for sure. JD has tons of property he can rent out and Amber is rumoured to have Elon's baby, so she will be ok. Didn't she film aquaman already?

There are reports that her role has been cut down to about ten minutes because of all this. 4 million people are telling Warner Brothers right now that they won't be going to see this movie if she's still in it. That's a lot of tickets...
