They are not bad -- I would still lean towards Canton and those discounted prices are good -- but again, it is your call

Do you think SVS Ultra bookshelf would be better? Or Monitor Audio s1? Or Philharmonic? The Cantons definitely are on my list.

I have not listened to the Ultra's, but they get a good report

The Monitor Audio's are nice speakers and I like them -- however, I prefer Canton over them -- but it is about your ears

Not quite, but those arena speaker look like they would work too. I was referring to these. They are monitors intended to be wall-mounted.

My bad! It was BSA that suggested the Arena's

JBL Arena speakers are often on very deep sale. Look out for good deals.

thanks. Look very similar to area 120, which are pretty decent for tiny speakers

@zieglj01 says they are the 120's just a special run with some cosmetic differences.
