He sent me a picture of himself one day. I didn't know of his condition until he did that. I have looked but can't find it.

I just joined the Wheelchair forum. I am going to post this thread over there. Hopefully his family will be able to see how many friends Ric had over here.

On the topic of internet stalking skills; when Adam uncovered MidCow2's identity, address and phone number so that I could speak to him, he also voiced a concern for Ric. I'm sort of posting this on MidCow2's behalf and adding another name to the list of people that thought well of Ric.

That is very sad news. Gimpy Ric had a big cross to bear. He bore it with courage and never looked for sympathy. He PMed me on a number of occasions, and was a perfect gentleman.

I think that Gimpy ric represented what's the real heart and soul of this forum. Always sharing, always positive and bringing so much humor and joy into these threads. This is what this should be about

We may all honor him by continuing to bring along Gimpy ric's attitudes to this forum, in that sense his spirit may still be with us.

I can't remember ever crossing paths here with ric, and obviously to my loss. Its apparent that he had quite and impact on so many people here. I read through a bunch of his posts and he truly was a gentleman full of honor and courage and I certainly respect him. God bless his family and friends, I'll be sure to say a little prayer for them. While it is indeed sad news that he has left his earthly home, what a joyous occasion that he's running up and down the the streets of gold. Enjoy that new body, ric and thanks for the legacy you left for us.
