I am technically the 2nd owner, but the original owner never opened the box - so I'm the only one to use these speakers. I've had them since early Sept 09.
They've been well cared for, and are in perfect working order. They are in excellent "out of the box" condition cosmetically, but not perfect. In other words, there is no damage (scratches, cracks, ect) to the cabinet/drivers, however the veneer seams are not perfect in all places. As I said, this was the condition of the cabinets right out of the box. I wouldn't call them b-stock....just that the veneer work isn't perfect. Note that there is NO peeling or anything like that at the seams.
In addition, since the weather has gotten cold, the one grill has become loose and falls off, while the other is a little loose but stays on. I'm not the only person to encounter this, as it's happened with a few pairs from the first run. There are multiple easy and cheap ways this can be fixed. See this thread:
