Click to expand... You are not alone. Here is my story. We've been shopping for a new car. We both agree that we should get a car that's good in the winter and within a certain budget. We've been looking at the Focus and Ranger but she's not really into those so I tell her that we could look at a v6 Mustang coupe at the top end of budget. She says no to the Mustang coupe because it's not good in the snow. She really wants a Mustang convertible and regularly prices them out and wants to go look at them. I remind her that she won't drive a Mustang coupe because it's no good in the snow. She then says that our previous Mustangs were just fine in the snow and she would gladly drive the Mustang convertible year round. I'm not prepared to spend that kind of money right now. So we go back and look at the Focus and Ranger which she still doesn't like. So I suggest the Mustang coupe again and what does she say...? It's no good in the snow. I remind her that she is willing to drive the convertible in the snow. What does she say...? But that's different. Reactions: griffinconst, adk highlander, Nemo128 and 4 others

She must be thinking that she would drive with the top down and let the snow accumulate in the car, thus increasing the weight on the rear tires, giving the car increased traction. Genius. I dated a smoker once. As I was driving her home one winter night, she lit up & put the window down. I said “why do you have the window open, it’s freezing in here”. She replied “I can’t stand the smell of cigarette smoke”. Reactions: Nemo128 and lsiberian

I wouldn't drive a focus no way man because that car's handling blows(very loose). It's better than a cobalt though lol. That's the worst car I ever drove.
