Extra subwoofer channel needed

I have a Trinnov Altitude 32 with 12 subwoofers. I am one channel short. I can always double up 2 subwoofers on 1 channel. But is there a way to further split a channel using a separate MiniDSP or something so that I can calibrate each sub separately?

Yes, you could use a miniDSP to functionally split the signal and separately process two subwoofers.

Maybe someone who’s familiar with their product line will chime in. But basically, you want one that has (for example) one input, and at leastwo outputs. You can peruse their model lineup, thn you can study the manuals and see of both outputs can be processed independently.

Manually calibrating 12 subs sounds like a nightmare. I don't even think it would do any good. If you can't get a flat response with even half that many subs, especially with Trinnov, something has gone terribly wrong.

I second that Shady, this sounds like one of the daftest systems that have come our way.

Hi there. Thanks for your help! I am installing two systems. One for large living room, and one for master bedroom. Thanks!

So...in the last 7 days you bought 10 more subs and are going to put 6 in each room ?

I have one system in a really large living room with 12 subwoofers, with an extensive amount of recessed 3' - 4' deep absorption behind fabric, and the other system in the master bedroom with two subwoofers. My question here has to do with adding something like a MiniDSP to split one of the subs channels, or just to run two subs on one of the channels.
