Contest Question: What is your next electronics investment? What are purchasing for the holidays?

A new 42" plasma for the family room, a 37" LCD for my daughters room, and a new multi format dvd player. I'd also like to update this Labtec 2.1 speaker setup on my pc. The flat panel speakers sound great, but the 4" sub just isn't cutting it these days.

Probably get my folks a 42" plasma as well for the holidays if the construction biz keeps up.

BTW, this is a GREAT topic. Nice job! It tells advertisers what the immediate demand is, and what products are successful in getting the info out to their most informed "potential" clients. You couldn't have done any better with a telephone survey!

My next purchase will be rear in-wall or ceiling speakers for my new great-room's surround-sound system.I haven't decided placement yet since the house won't be finished till Christmas,so that will be our Christmas purchase.

Probably a Sirius reciever so that I can continue (15 years and counting...) to get my Howard Stern fix...I don't know how I can tie in the RapidRun cables to that, but I'd certainly use them elsewhere.

BTW, I was fortunate enough to win a couple of cables from IA, and I've been beyond thrilled with their quality. In fact, just this morning, I purchased a 500-ft spool of in-wall speaker wire and a 3-meter SonicWave HDMI cable. Thanks for the 20% off discount!

Just made the most major investment . . . $65K finishing the basement, including HT area! Also just purchased Denon 3806 receiver, 2910 disc player, and Monitor Audio RS series "7" of a 7.1 system. Next will likely be a display--leaning towards front projection at this point--followed by a sub (waiting quite impatiently for the Hsu VTF-3HO's to start shipping!).

I am currently testing the Beta units of the Emotiva Ultra-Lite 7 channel amp and processor, so far they are impressing me so I will most likely be purchasing the combo when they are released to the public next month. My other purchase is some finishing touches in the HT room and a custom designed rack for my gear.
