I Plan on getting an HDTV-LCD 37" .I have saved for a very long time.Given that the nature of my income is meger,to say the least,due to the fact that I will be "cheeking out" eariler than I ever dreamed due to Cancer.I intend to make the most of every moment! " Honored to have known some wonderful folks along the way!An old Vetnam buddy introduced me to high-Quality sound,circa 1970's.So God willing I intend to aquire the above HDTV and build on from there.Keep The Faith, I'am! Next purchase will be a new receiver--I need HDMI switching!

My next investment will be a TV. Most likely an LCD 36-42
inch screen. For the holidays I will get new surround speakers.

Me thinks its gonna be a nice front projector like the Yamaha DPX-1300 DLP or something similar.... gotta wait for those suckers to come down in price a bit... then a couple of more Axiom QS8 speakers for the rear.... a good SACD player that is yet to be determined.... and ofcourse an HD player once the HD-DVD and BlueRay bozos have figured out which one they wanna stick to us without fleecing us!
hmmm... I'll think I'll ride the last one out till next year end knowing very well they are going to come down in price heavily and have figured out the technology kinks...

I'm likely buying an ultra portable laptop (less than 4 lbs carry weight) or an outboard DAC for my computer so I can listen to high quality sound.

My next electronic pucrchase will most likely be a new DVD player that will be capable of handling the new formatts (blu-ray, HD DVD) once the prices normalize a bit.

This Christmas I'll be buying an X-Box 360 for the kids.

My next big purchase will be Yamaha's RX-V2600, or something very simular. I like the fact it up-converts analog to HDMI. plus once the PS3 comes out, me and my 61" JVC D-ILA will be seeing alot of each other. Later down the road, I plan to build on to my house for a dedicated Theater Room. waiting for permission from Wife....

My next purchase will probably be a Mac Mini, or if I can hold out longer, the next gen Mac Mini or the rumored iTablet. Along with a Lilliput touch screen monitor for control from my seat.

I'm holding off on a pre-processor for now, until things are figured out with regards to HD audio delivery. Unfortunately, I'm afraid even once that's figured out, a decent pre-processor in my price range will require even more waiting.
